 The Membership of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (MRCP UK) is a postgraduate medical qualification recognized internationally. It tests your knowledge, clinical understanding, and decision-making skills required for practicing medicine at a higher level. 

 Doctors who have completed their MBBS or equivalent primary medical qualification and have at least 12 months of clinical experience after graduation (internship)  are eligible to take MRCP Part 1. 

 The MRCP consists of three parts:

 The Part 1 exam has two papers, each with 100 multiple-choice questions (best of five format), completed in one day. There is no negative marking.
